Lord Jesus,

Señor Jesús
You were sent by the Father
Tu fuiste enviado por el Padre
to gather together those who are scattered.
para reunir a los que se encuentran dispersos
You came among us, doing good and bringing healing,
Viniste a nosotros, haciendo el bien y sanando,
announcing the Word of salvation
anunciando la Palabra de salvación
and giving the Bread which lasts forever.
y dándonos el Pan que dura para siempre.
Be our companion on life’s pilgrim way.
Sé nuestro compañero en la peregrinación de la vida.
May your Holy Spirit inflame our hearts,
Que tu Espíritu Santo inflame nuestros corazones,
enliven our hope and open our minds,
avive nuestra esperanza y abra nuestras mentes,
so that together with our sisters and brothers in faith
para que junto con nuestras hermanas y hermanos en la fe
we may recognise you in the Scriptures and in the breaking of bread.
podamos reconocerte en las Escrituras y en la fracción del pan.
May your Holy Spirit transform us into one body
Que tu Espíritu Santo nos transforme en un cuerpo
and lead us to walk humbly on the earth,
y nos guíe para caminar humildemente en el mundo,
in justice and love, en justicia y amor, as witnesses of your resurrection.

whom you gave to us as our Mother at the foot of the cross,
